Big Mill

Mike called from "location" b/c he had forgotten his wallet.  Which meant, he had no money to get breakfast.  I was planning to meet him for lunch anyway and he thought for sure there would be a huge spread of food for all the guys.  Around 830am-they had to march 1/2 mile down the road, and then again, and then again, and then again-by 1230pm Mike was starving!  He no longer cared about being on tv-Mike and a few other guys had Cal and I come pick them up-Mike is just not cut out for Hollywood-hahaha-The braveheart March included a civil war reenactment and shooting off cannons at the house.  Mike forgot the camera.

That afternoon, we checked into Big Mill B&B-It is gorgeous.  A huge farm in the middle of no where.  I love it!  Callum has had so much fun and can't wait to meet Moses, the cat.  Chloe the innkeeper is lovely.  I can't say enough.  I am so lucky we changed locations.

Mike has been stressed to the max.  He has been back and forth to the house.  He left at 130am this morning to set the drains and has yet to return.  Three hours of sleep is not good for him.  And, Callum decided he wasn't really that tired last night at 930pm, ah, kids.  We were exhuasted!  Callum is still sleeping-

Mike took the camera-this am so I'm hoping to have some pictures to share.  Also, we have tickets to the VIP tent today-maybe a few shots with Ty and Callum.

This sums up our experience at the first B&B.  Mike left early on Sun. 530am in order to begin the Braveheart March shooting at 730.  He missed this experience.  Cal and I stayed at the B&B in order to have a "gourmet" breakfast.  When the innkeeper served these banana pancakes-I freaked.  Luckily from the night before, I had a to go box.  When he wasn't looking I threw half the b'fast in there-it was awful.  When I showed Mike, he had to take a picture of it.  Now, I think it is kinda funny.

Kick Off

Mike and I are headed to Edenton this afternoon.  Hopefully, we will get there in time to take in all the sights and get some pictures.  Edenton is such a cute town.  www.trestlehouseinn.com

When we found out the house is in Jamesville, we had to alter our plans.  Edenton is about 40 miles from Jamesville.  We found a B&B about 13.3 miles from the house.  www.bigmill.com

Mike has to be at the house at 730am for the Braveheart March.  No kids allowed-Cal and I will head into Jamesville and meet mike for lunch.  Mon. we have VIP tent tickets-not sure what is involved-Mike starts the tile on Tue. from 3-12am.  We-think all the materials and the crew are all set to go!

Callum and I need to get busy packing and maybe make a sign or two

As you can tell, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep up with this blogger stuff. Seems like it is always the last on my list and never gets updated.

The last few weeks have been crazy busy! I'm heading to Nelson on Friday for a week or so. Mike is having a boys weekend and looking forward to deep sea fishing on Sat. I'll be going to Heather's baby shower and then helping get ready for B's big day. I'm so excited!!

We have been to some pretty cool places- NC Aquarium, NC Museum of Science, Twisted Fork (yummy!), & Augusta County Fair.

My teacher friend Jessica had a little girl last week-Elizabeth-I'm taking them dinner tomorrow night.

Tonight Kim's SIL & family are in town so we are going to try and catch up with them.

Mike went out of town and should be back sometime this afternoon/evening.

Callum is actually still sleeping- long night- apparently his molars are moving in!
