Friday

We are back at home just long enough to unpack and pack for Florida. I am really glad we planned this vacation. It will be a nice change of pace.

The past few days we had a celebration of Granny's life. We played music, drank coffee, sat and talked, looked at pictures, and had pie/cake for b'fast, lunch, and dinner. There is nothing like spending time with family/friends. Makes this week extra quiet for me. I know Callum misses all the entertainment.

Thanks for all the kind words, thoughts, and prayer during our time of loss.

Granny

Just wanted to let everyone know Granny unexpectedly went to be with the Lord yesterday. The Dr. believes it was a heart attack. She will be 82 Easter Sunday. Cal and I were able to spend time with her Tues. night. I'm so glad I decided to come home early for Easter. I believe the funeral will be on Monday. Keep us in your prayers.

Oreo

Each month I get little tidbits of knowledge to use with my students.

On March 6, 1912, Oreo Cookies were sold for the first time. Describe how you like to eat your Oreo.

hm mm.... as I drive down french fry ally-Oreo McFlurry, Oreo Blizzard, Oreo Frosty... my weakness.

Enjoy an Oreo (or two) tomorrow!

No News is Good News

It has been a quiet week. I've just been catching up on odds and ends. Callum and I went shopping some to find an Easter outfit for pictures and clothes for our Florida trip. The photo session has live bunnies-I can't wait to see his reaction. Mom and Dad will actually be in town to go with us. Mike is gearing up for his trip to Killington for a bachelor ski party. Caught some Oprah this week and decided to put some of the books from her list on hold at the library (wishful reading time). Hit the gym a few times. Caught up on American Idol, but I don't have any real favorites yet.

Callum is still practicing his babbling-(an occasional mama/dada) and he loves to roll, roll, roll. A guess in a few weeks he will be on the move.

Heather went to the Dr. yesterday and got an excellent report. Due date is 10/24/08.
