If you ask my sister about us growing up together she can always remember all the times I just sat around conjuring up ways to annoy her~I would say a few memories on her top ten list are...keeping her awake all hours of the night b/c I couldn't sleep or wanted her to fight the monsters, terrorizing her special keepsakes like Pluto I think it was, and always willing to be the "model" for her clothes and make-up.
Some of my favorite memories of when we were younger include playing piano together, going to the movies, and the nights when she got to babysit. One night in particular I think it was a burnt cheese toast that made us all evacuate the house, including the pets.
Over the years, we've become best friends.
I don't always take the time to be sappy and tell my sis how thankful I am she is one of my best friends.
The picture above is one of my favorite pictures of her and Callum. What a SuperAuntie. I used to and still do tease Chelle about how super organized and planned out she is. Her skills spared me many meltdowns when Cal was born. She has turned into a highly qualified babysitter too!
Chelle gave me a calendar for sisters not to long ago-Today goes like this:
Family is of the utmost importance...We love, trust, get hurt, sometimes outraged, and we love and trust anyhow, because that's the best way to let our love grow. -Madeleine L'Engle
I hear Chelle put in four miles this morning on her trusty treadmill, got pampered at the salon (can't wait to see the new you), and then got a catered meal from "Linda's Kitchen". And I missed and the cake too!!!
Happy Birthday Chelle!!!
I Love Ya.
-sappiness is over :-)

I knew if I lived long enough, the two of you would eventually become best friends.
What wonderful girls!
Love Mom
Hee!Hee! Gotta love our sisters, right?!
BTW, LOVE that picture!
I just saw this today. What a wonderful surprise. Yes I am an official babysitter after a New Years Date with little Cal. We had some trials for about the first 30 minutes when he realized "mommy had left the building". :>)but everything turned out well and Annette and Mike got to spend a couple hours out on the town.
It has been a wonderful experience to grow up as sisters and have a family bond but when you realize that you are also best friends - what a blessing. I am so thankful for my family and the relationship I have with Annette. I love being an Auntie and spoling Cal. I am so excited about seeing them this weekend. Thanks for the B-Day wishes. You are a true friend and great mother and I love you.
